Today's agenda included a lot of talking. I spent the majority of my day at my university, discussing development of a new degree program as a student contact.
Most importantly, I went to buy perfume after. After sampling every Le Labo scent, I decided on AnOther 13. I originally was going to purchase Vetiver 46 but unfortunately they did not carry a size below 50ml. As for AnOther 13, it makes my skin smell exactly like a glossy page the first time you open a magazine. It's close to the skin, but still noticable. Vetiver 46 envokes a deep sense of nostalgia for me, smelling like the houses and churches in Eastern Europe, from the burning incense to the smell of the forest surrounding. It is truly a magnificent scent, although I can't justify the $362 for a 50ml bottle.
After spending the bulk of my money, I head into the bookstore with my to-read list, and came out with Paradise Lost, which is one that's been there for a while. Dante Alighieri's Inferno sparked my interest in biblical fiction/poetry, so I'm glad I've picked up yet another epic poem.
